Jason Dombrowski, an ISI Campus Representative at American University and leader of the "American University Conservatives" passed this information along to me. If you're in DC, it sounds like a great opportunity to engage in conversation about the war on terrorism, Iraq, and the clash betweem Islam and the West.
From Jason: On behalf of the American University Foreign Policy Association, Capitol Conservatives, American Univerity Conservatives, and Accuracy in Media, I'd like to invite you to the DC Premiere of "Confronting Iraq: Conflict and Hope" to be held Thursday, November 17th, 2005, at 7:30PM on American University's Campus. "Confronting Iraq: Conflict and Hope" is a brand new documentary by Director Roger Aronoff that addresses the questions of the Iraqi War such as "Was the Iraqi War a diversion from the War on Terror?" and "Was it part of a larger inevitable Clash of Civilizations?" as well as countless other questions. Director Aronoff has gone to great lengths in "Confronting Iraq: Conflict and Hope" to get the other side of the story, the side that you haven't seen in American Media. Included are interviews with James Woolsey, former Director of the CIA, Tim Trevan, UN Weapons Inspector, Jano Rosebiani, a Kurdish-American Documentarian, and many others. Director Roger Aronoff has a long prestigious history, having written and directed several groundbreaking documentaries. He has received top awards for Investigative Journalism including the top prize at WorldFest. A graduate of the University of Texas, before becoming a documentarian, he enjoyed a career as syndicated journalist and radio producer. Mr. Aronoff currently works as a Media Analyst with Accuracy in Media in Northwest Washington, DC. In addition to being the DC Premiere, we will be having a Q&A session with Director Roger Aronoff immediately after the showing. The event is totally free and refreshments will be served. Also, since we have plenty of space, please invite your colleagues and feel free to pass this correspondence and attached documents along to as many people as you would like. If you have any questions about the event, the documentary, or anything else, please feel free to email me at Dombrowski.Jason@gmail.com. Thanks again and I hope to see you there! Jason C. Dombrowski Vice Chair, American University Foreign Policy Association Founder, Capitol Conservatives Founder, American University Conservatives Addendum: Jason has copies of posters to advertise the event. You can email him for that. Also, for directions: American University is located at 4400 Massachusetts Ave, NW Washington, DC 20016. This is on Ward Circle, at the intersection of Massachusetts and Nebraska Avenues, NW, in Washington, DC. Confronting Iraq: Conflict and Hope is going to be held in the Basement of the Ward Building (on AU's campus) in Room # 1. |
