Now that ISI's first annual civic literacy report is out at www.americancivicliteracy.org, I wonder what people think about it and what kind of correlations they would be interested to look for in future years.

I would like to see this report used to expose the true laxity of the educational product that's touted at the so-called "elite" colleges and universities. Many of these schools should be embarrassed because they have skated by on reputations honed long ago, but the aura of their excellence is, often times, a mask for professorial and administrative hubris. Just one more endorsement for the kinds of schools highlighted in ISI's All-American Colleges!
