Back in 1986, Storm King Press "re-launched" a paperback that a long-time friend of ISI, Herb Meyer and his wife co-authored entitled "How to Write." Bill Safire called it "The most helpful book the beginning writer can buy." To date it has sold nearly 300,000 copies worldwide.

Instructors at dozens of colleges have "adopted" the book for their courses, and scores of instructors have put the book on their "recommended" lists. Amazingly, "How to Write" is used not only in writing courses, but by instructors in history, economics -- even nursing. That's because "How to Write" shows how to communicate ideas and information, clearly and concisely. It's less of a style book than a handbook -- which is why so many students find it so helpful.

Now they have found a way to use technology to make "How to Write" available to students at the lowest possible price -- as an ebook they can download into their computers for the astounding, never-before-matched price of just $1.99. No publisher has ever done this before. They are perhaps at the forefront of using technology to make books more affordable for students.

Take a look at the "How to Write Ebook" website, for software preferences:
