I don't know where to start. I don't have friends at first because I was too timid.

Yes and no.
College has fulfilled my expectations for fun, friends, and intellectual pursuits. I thoroughly enjoy all of the campus organizations I participate in. But what about the responsibility that's supposed to come with freedom? College feels like an extended stay at summer camp. Of course I have a responsibility to myself to do well academically, but it seems like there should be more. Some kind of tangible, measurable work that fills a need. Maybe that's just me. I tend to look at everything in terms of how it can be applied to accomplish tasks. Sigh. My burden to bear, I suppose. |

As I've said else where, I'm a freshman at the University of Minnesota. After one semester, I can say that going there is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. The school has everything you could want, you just have to find it. It took me most of a semester, but I can say that in the comming semester, I think everything will fall into place for an outstanding college experience.
