Full-Time Humanities Position - College of the Ozarks invites applications for a full-time teaching position in Humanities, rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Starting date is August, 2006. Ph.D. preferred (ABD acceptable). Responsibilities include teaching courses in World Literature, especially Renaissance through the present, for the Character Curriculum, which is part of the College’s general education program. The successful candidate will also be able to teach composition and/or literature classes in the English department. This position requires a commitment to teaching excellence and serving as a mentor and positive role model for our students. This position may lead to a multi-year letter of appointment.
