You can get by better with intelligence but little hard work than with the reverse. |

I disagree. Intelligence is a good quality, but hard work makes a good student. EG, look at these two students: 1. A pupil who is very sharp, but slacks off and jokes around, does not complete assignments, etc. 2. A pupil who is not very smart, yet works diligently, pays attention, and tries their best. Which student would you prefer to teach? Both qualities (diligence and intelligence) are admirable, but when taken alone the former is more desirable. |
