I was wondering if anyone had read Equality By Default and could provide a review or critique of it. I recently read it, but I my knowledge of political philosophy and French conservative thought is lacking.

I have it and plan to read it soon. I read Icarus Fallen by DeSol about 6 mos. ago. It was terrific! Have you read it?

I have not read Icarus Fallen yet. I found out about Equality By Default because I read about it being compared to Bloom's The Closing of the American Mind, which I really appreciated.

The author of Icarus Fallen, Chantal delSol, has a lecture on the ISI's website. I believe you can read the transcript or access audio or video of the event. It is a really great lecture and I believe it is taken from the book.
